Experiment 02
One simple rule.
One simple rule.
An unexpected world.
Each cell looks at itself and its two neighbours. One tiny rule decides what comes next.
Rule 30, 64 generations, one starting cell.
Why this happens
There are eight possible arrangements of three binary cells. A rule number encodes the next state for each arrangement. This experiment uses 127 cells per row with fixed, empty boundaries. Change the seed or the rule and every following row can change.
